During this years Contactless Intelligence Spring Conference in London, VP and General Manager of VeriFone Taxi and Media Solutions, Mark Roberts, invited the C-ITV cameras to take a short taxi ride with him so he could speak about and demonstrate the new VeriFone taxi payment solution. And very interesting it was too.
And before anyone asks – yes, we were filming in a Mercedes and yes, the Mercedes Vito Taxi is one of the new vehicles accepted by London as a ‘real’ London Taxi. The times, they are a-changin’…
There’s probably more modern Mercedes taxis than the traditional black cabs in London now. And a good thing too – the Mercedes taxis are much more comfortable to ride in.
