‪Barclaycard Wireless Festival 2012, the UK’s first contactless festival‬

Barclaycard Wireless 2012 was the UK’s first fully contactless festival. Using the contactless payments bracelets meant a lot of positives for the festival going public. Although there was no need to carry cash, I believe that Barclaycard’s  best marketing ploy was the inclusion of VIP toilets for the bracelet holders. Who wouldn’t kill for a clean toilet at a muddy festival!
