27.11.2014 ASK will supply Navigo pass card readers to the RATP and SNCF
Navigo passes are used by over 4 million passengers in Paris and the Ile-de-France region using the bus, subway, train, or Velib bike share services. The RATP and SNCF distribute a USB reader that allows Navigo pass users to renew their monthly or weekly subscriptions on-line from their own computer – thus avoiding queues at SNCF and RATP points of sale.
26.11.2014 Mobile payments service Blik ready for launch in Poland
Polish mobile payments service Blik has been cleared by the National Bank of Poland, allowing users to make payments in stores and online, withdraw cash from ATMs and send P2P transfers with their mobile phones. Backed by six polish banks, the mobile payments service will be available to any customer of a participating bank in possession of a smartphone.
Blik uses an open standard developed by Polish Payment Standard (PSP), a company formed by Alior Bank, Bank Millennium, Bank Zachodni WBK, ING, mBank and PKO Bank Polski.
