Boubyan Bank offers first contactless payment cards in Kuwait thanks to OT

Boubyan BankOberthur Technologies (OT), a leading global provider of embedded security software products, services and solutions today announced its selection by Boubyan Bank, a leading bank in Kuwait to offer the first contactless payment cards.

In order to offer its customers innovation and technology, Boubyan Bank has decided to market new contactless payment cards, provided by OT. It significantly enhances the shopping experience as customers just need to wave their contactless payment card in front of a contactless terminal. The first contactless terminals are expected in 2016.
