OT MultiSIM cards selected by Sprint for nationwide stores network

sprint_retailOT (Oberthur Technologies) is to provide its MultiSIM cards for the Sprint nationwide stores network in the United States as the first ever Sprint retail packaged SIM kit, targeted at new subscribers who already have a mobile device.

Sprint say they want to provide new subscribers with a simple, convenient and cost effective experience and believe that they can do so by offering a packaged SIM kit (with OT’s MultiSIM included). New subscribers won’t need to change their mobile phones if they don’t want to as the OT MultiSIM fits virtually any device. Already adopted by more than 90 mobile operators worldwide, MultiSIM combines all the form factors on one single, easy-to-use card and dramatically improves the user-friendliness of the SIM card.

“We are delighted to provide Sprint with our MultiSIM cards and partner in this new market initiative. We look forward to supporting the growth of this program and we are sure that thanks to MultiSIM, one of our flagship products, Sprint will be able to provide new subscribers with both user-friendliness and convenience” said Daniel Watters, Senior Vice President North America, Mobile Network Operators business at OT.

“As a valued supplier and partner, OT has once again demonstrated their commitment to bringing creative and cost-effective solutions to Sprint” said Ryan Sullivan, Sprint’s Vice President of Product Engineering and Development. “Our retail SIM kit program will go a long way toward delighting our new customers, providing a simple activation experience while at the same time saving them and Sprint the costly out-of- pocket expense for a new device”.
